"You miss every shot you don’t take, so doubt less and do more." Kenneth finds this thought inspiring –though he admits he should apply it more often in his own life. Yet, it defines him more than he realises. After fourteen years with his previous employer, he took the plunge in March 2022 and joined Aucxis as a project manager, despite having no IT background. "I didn’t have an IT background, but from day one, I felt welcome. The open communication within the team immediately gave me the confidence to find my place."

The bridge between Aucxis and its clients

As a project manager, Kenneth acts as the crucial link between Aucxis and its clients. He describes himself as calm and patient – qualities that prove invaluable in a role full of unexpected twists. “Projects rarely go exactly as planned,” he says. Yet, he always strives to communicate clearly, both within the team and with clients – even when he has to share difficult news. This is actually one of the most challenging aspects of his job, as he likes to stay in control – but not everything is within his power. Still, he ensures that things stay on track. His need for structure is reflected not only in his clear communication but also in his thorough follow-ups, tight planning and hands-on involvement in various projects, including testing.

Fulfilment through challenge and diversity

“I had no IT background (well, I do now!), so I learn something new every day. That makes the job challenging but also incredibly fascinating,” he says. He also enjoys interacting with clients – in multiple languages – and visiting them on-site, which he sees as a bonus. What makes Aucxis feel like home? The respect and diversity within the team. “We’re a group with different backgrounds, yet we consistently deliver strong projects. That’s priceless!” That sense of teamwork and the drive to keep improving make Kenneth not only a valued colleague but also an inspiring figure within the team. Delivering projects on time, within budget and keeping both the client and Aucxis satisfied is no easy task – but one he takes on with dedication.

Kenneth speaking:
"You never achieve anything alone – whether at home, at work or on the football pitch!"

Family First

Like many in our Aucxis family, Kenneth is a real family man! His daughter Fran and wife Neel always come first – no matter what. “We simply love spending time together, whether it’s a day out, a weekend away or just relaxing at home on the sofa.” He also enjoys a good bike ride or a game with his local football team – especially the post-match camaraderie with friends! To wrap things up, he added: “You never achieve anything alone – whether at home, at work or on the football pitch!”
