A milestone for KOSMOS in China
Following an 8-month implementation phase, KOSMOS, Aucxis’ cloud-based sales and information platform, was officially launched on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Dounan Flowers E-Trade Center (DFETC) in Yunnan province. With 5 auction clocks running simultaneously and accommodating 300 buyers, it ranks as China’s largest flower auction.
12,000 transactions daily
The implementation of the KOSMOS platform presented a significant challenge due to the project’s scale: every day 1.5 million cut flowers are auctioned in approx. 10,000 lots, resulting in 12,000 transactions. The time zone difference with Belgium along with the language barrier added further complexity. After overcoming the initial hurdles, which are nearly inevitable when launching a project of this magnitude, we proudly announce that today we have reached a new milestone with KOSMOS.
