Taking-into-service first Moby-Clock in China

The mobile auction clock from Aucxis, the Moby-Clock, has been introduced in July 2017 via the customer APC in China. The major advantage is that the Moby-Clock can go from one lot of products to another lot of products. In this way, buyers have the possibility to inspect the quality of the products. By means of the Dutch falling clock principle, the buyers can automatically stop the descending price counter with a radiographic buyer button at a predefined set speed. The buyer who pushes first or indicates the best price, buys the lot for the corresponding price.

The Moby-Clock is a perfect instrument to make the transition from a shout auction to a computerised auction room more easily acceptable for the buyers. Furthermore, transactions are sent to the back office of the auction via Wi-Fi.
