Our KOSMOS 22.1 release is here!

As KOSMOS keeps growing with new functionalities in order to support our customers, it is important to invest the necessary time to improve the stability and performance of the product. In this new KOSMOS version many improvements have been made which are related to the line times. The decrease of several processing times contributes to a faster data processing and improves the user’s experience. 

In KOSMOS 22.1 we have also added extra security improvements. Based on the current OWASP guidelines, we will try to reduce the security risks to a minimum. 

In addition to the security part, we also continue to focus on improvements for both the buyer and auctioneer.  

First of all, we have started to redesign our UI. In this KOSMOS version, we have updated the UI of the clock application, both for buyer and auctioneer. In a second phase (KOSMOS 22.2), we will take care of the administration part. 

Besides to the new UI, we also introduced a new selling mode for the auction, a Transaction registration module. Auctions (e.g. shout auctions) which are currently doing the sale manually, have now the possibility to use this brand new module.   

One of the major additions in this new version is the use of buy amount buttons! In older KOSMOS versions, the buyer was obliged to use the regular buy button in combination with the buy popup or audio connection with the auctioneer. Now KOSMOS can speed up the process thanks to the use of buy amount buttons. 

In addition to images, KOSMOS now supports video streaming as well. Each clock can have a video stream channel in order to provide the buyer with more detailed information. 

And of course, our KOSMOS app is also being improved with several new functionalities, like buy amount buttons, minimum and maximum amounts and notifications. These features become available once KOSMOS 22.1 is installed.
